Music Educates FAQ

Your students deserve a band and orchestra program. You don’t have to build it alone.

Bring band or orchestra to your school with Music Educates. Whether you need a full-service launch or support for the team you already have, we help turn the idea of a music program into a practical next step.

Let’s plan your school’s music program

How are we going to fund it?

We have several parent funded programs running!  For around $200 a semester many families feel that there is a lot of value and are enrolling their students!

Do we have to do anything?  A new program shouldn’t mean doing everything yourself.

Who will teach? Where will the instruments come from? How will it fit the school day? Who will handle the details?

Those are the right questions. Music Educates offers partnership models that address instruction, instruments, scheduling, and administration, so you can explore a program that fits your school rather than starting from a blank page.

Can we get certain things in our program though?  You bring the vision. We bring the program support.

Our Full-Service Turnkey Program is designed for schools looking for a comprehensive, hands-on solution. Music Educates provides:

  • Visiting instructional staff to deliver music instruction.
  • Instruments to support your new program.
  • Music supplies for teaching and learning.
  • Complete administrative oversight to help manage the program.

Instead of assembling every piece independently, your school can work with one program partner.

How much support do we need?  A model for the school you actually run.

Not every school needs the same level of support. Alongside our full-service option, we offer flexible ways to introduce instrumental music.

Build on your existing music class

Already have a general music teacher? We provide instruments and instructional guidance so small groups of 5–10 students can learn band or orchestra instruments during regular music class, without hiring an additional teacher for this model.

Use an elective or free period

Work within an existing elective block or study period. A visiting Music Educates instructor comes 1–2 times per month to set goals, assess progress, and keep students inspired.

Keep your instructor. Let us support the logistics.

With our Hybrid Partner Model, your school provides or hires the instructor while Music Educates manages instrument rentals, parent registration, and curriculum coordination.

Let's Connect

Do I need to know exactly what I want?  Start with a conversation, not a finished plan.

You don’t need every detail worked out before you reach out. Tell us about your school, the students you hope to serve, and what is standing between you and a music program.

Let’s talk through the essentials

  • The grade levels and approximate number of students you want to serve.
  • Your available class periods, elective blocks, or other scheduling options.
  • Whether you have a music instructor or need instructional staff.
  • Your instrument needs, budget considerations, and preferred start date.

These details give us a starting point for discussing the right partnership model and what launching could involve.

Questions administrators ask

Do we need to hire our own music teacher?

Not for every model. Our full-service option includes visiting instructional staff. Our hybrid option lets your school provide or hire the instructor, and our general music supplement supports a teacher you already have.

Can this fit into our existing schedule?

Our models include options for regular music classes and existing elective or study periods. Share your schedule so we can discuss which approach may fit.

Can you help with instruments and parent registration?

Yes. Our hybrid model includes instrument rental management, parent registration, and curriculum coordination. Our full-service model includes instruments, music supplies, visiting staff, and complete administrative oversight.

What will it cost, and when can we start?

Contact us to discuss pricing and launch timing for your school’s needs. Include your preferred start date, expected student participation, and the level of support you are looking for.
